Ceramic Fin Vase Medium

In the medium format the Fin Vase acquires a genuinely sculptural weight — its ridged form rising from a stable base with the confidence of something that knows exactly what it is. The neutral glaze softens the fins into something almost organic; the black hardens them into something closer to architecture. Both reward an interior with a defined aesthetic sensibility. Note: Natural variations in glaze are characteristic of artisanal ceramics.
