Ceramic Fish Vase Green

The fish has occupied the decorative imagination of every maritime culture — a form that is simultaneously ancient and entirely contemporary, never quite exhausted as a source of visual interest. In deep green ceramic it becomes an object of genuine tactile and visual complexity: the scales a texture as much as an image, the form both vessel and sculpture, the glaze doing the work of water without quite replicating it.
